NEET Examination 2020 – Date, Eligibility And How To Apply

National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test or NEET is among the most prestigious and sought-after medical entrance examinations in India. The exam was previously called All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) and is for students who wish to pursue medical education in both private and government medical as well as dental colleges. The examination was supposed to take place on 3rd May, 2020 and got postponed due the Coronavirus pandemic. The correction window for applications has been extended till 3 May 2020. NEET 2020 exam will be conducted on 26 July 2020

NEET Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: Indian, NRI, PIO, OCI and foreign nationals
  • Age: 17 years
  • Qualification: Class XII or equivalent from a recognized institute
  • Mandatory Subjects:  Biology (Botany & Zoology), Chemistry and Physics
  • Minimum marks required:
    • General: 50%
    • Persons with Disabilities  (PwD) : 45%
    • SC/ ST/ OBC: 42%
