Step 3: Click on नवीन आवेदन प्रपत्र भरें (Fill a new application form).

 
Step 4: You will be required to first enter the husband’s details, followed by the wife’s, and then the details regarding the marriage location. Once you have filled the form, click on सुरक्षित करें (Save).
Step 5: You will be given an आवेदन संख्या (Application Number) and a password that you will need to keep track of your application. Click on छायावित्र एवम प्रमाण पत्र अपलोड (Upload photograph and documents).
Step 6: Upload the photographs and the necessary documents of the husband and wife before selecting सुरक्षित करें (Save).
Step 7: You will be shown an acknowledgment form with all the information that you have provided. You can choose to edit and correct any of the details if required. Click on पूर्ण सुरक्षित करें (Save the whole form) to continue.
Step 8: Complete the payment process by clicking on ऑनलाइन पेमेंट (Online Payment).
Step 9: After completing the application form, you will have to register your marriage by going to the designated office on any working day within 30 days after submitting the application, accompanied by all of your original certificates. Make sure you are carrying an affidavit that adheres to the format and is attested by the notary.

Yes, there is a penalty for a delayed marriage registration in UP. As it is mandatory to register your marriage within 30 days of the ceremony, the UP Government has imposed a fine of ₹10 for a delay of one year and ₹50 for every subsequent year.

If the marriage is registered within one month of solemnization: ₹10
