My BMTC Bus Pass For Students And General Public

You can get your daily or monthly BMTC bus pass from any of the drivers/conductors present on the bus or at any major bus stop in Bengaluru.

The BMTC bus pass students can be applied offline at your nearest Bus Depot. Students can get the application forms from the BMTC pass counter for ₹30 and fill them. A passport size photo and the college/school fee receipt need to be attached to the application form before submitting.

To apply for a BMTC bus pass for students, you can follow the steps given here:
Step 1: Go to the BMTC website.

Step 2: Under the Online Services table, click on “Student Pass”.

 
Step 3: Click on “Student Pass Application Online”.
 
Step 4: Select the bus pass category you fall under.

Step 5: A new window will open where you will be required to fill in your personal details, including your bus travel route. Upload your passport sized photograph and institution fee receipt. Check the box and click on “Get OTP”.

Step 6: Enter the OTP that you will receive on your registered mobile number. You can choose to make your payment online or at the bus pass counter during your appointment. Your application number will be sent to your mobile number.

Step 7: Your application will be verified after which you can book an appointment using your application number. Bring a valid photo ID and a printout of your appointment slip to the bus counter to complete the process. Your photograph will be taken at the counter and an official will check your details after which you will receive your bus pass.

The documents required during the application of a BMTC bus pass are:
●  Identity Proof like Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, etc.
●  Fee receipt of the institution the applicant is enrolled in
●  Company ID if the applicant is an employee
 

No, there is no BMTC bus pass app

You can check your BMTC bus pass status by going to the BMTC website. Click on “Student Pass” under Online Services and enter your application number in the “Know your application status” box. Click “Search” and the necessary details will be displayed on your screen.

Currently, the BMTC bus pass renewal option is not available on the website.  

Here’s how you can fix your BMTC bus pass appointment.
 
Step 1: On the BMTC website, click on “Student Pass” under Online Services. Then click on “Apply Schedule / Reschedule Appointment”.
Step 2: A new window will open where you will need to fill in your application number, your nearest Bangalore One Counter, the time and date of the appointment you are comfortable with. Please note that you can only apply for an appointment once your BMTC bus pass application has been approved.

Step 3: Click on “Send OTP”.
Step 4: Once you have verified your appointment schedule using the OTP, you will receive a text message containing the time and date of your appointment, the appointment center, and your application number.

The BMTC bus pass acknowledgment slip can be downloaded by logging into your account on the BMTC website.

As of today, you cannot get the Karnataka Mobile One BMTC bus pass. However, you have the option of viewing the locations of the available Karnataka One Centers that issue a Monthly BMTC bus pass.

The Student’s Travel Facility Committee, presided over by ADM KK Divakaran, decided on a BMTC bus pass extension for degree students. Since colleges and universities in Bengaluru are opened around the 4th of October, new passes will be granted until 31st March, 2022, and those passes which were supposed to expire on 31st March, 2022, will be extended until 31st December.
